Millions of Emus: Day 16, #The100DayProject2019

Nearsightedness can lead to interesting headlines

My eyesight has been terrible for most of my life; trying to read headlines on the internet has done nothing to improve it.

I realized within a split-second, of course, that the actual headline I saw was “French billionaires, companies pledge millions of euros to rebuild Notre-Dame,” but the mental image conjured by my initial reading stuck with me.

Materials: Field Notes: “Sweet Tooth” (Banana Split) memo book (sold out, but possibly available online via some dedicated searching); Noodler’s Lexington Gray bottled ink, a Waterman Phileas fountain pen (no longer manufactured, but again, possibly available online via some dedicated searching); Posca paint markers (ultra-fine, white & black; medium gray); various Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens, black; various Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils.

P.S.: I know I missed a day of The 100 Day Project.  I’ll make it up later.
